Just a quick note. I was working on the story again yesterday evening, and I think I finally worked out a way to put my sociopath in the place of Hegelian conssciousness without explaining to everyone that that's what I'm doing. It's better reading, obviously. It's also more to the point of what I'm trying to accomplish. I'm not trying to teach philosophy to my readers. I'm just trying to help get folks engaged with some of the deeper issues of life that philophers like Hegel point to.
Okay, I need to get a little writing in today. It's been a great day, but no writing yet.
