You
All---
If you're stopping to see my writing space as part of the Blogf---, check back in this evening, once I've had a chance to take a picture or two. In the mean time, here's a picture of where I sleep in preparation for writing. You can see our cat, Walgreens, likes to sleep there, too. As far as I know, she does little in the way of writing.
As far as I know.
.Nevets.
Hey, maybe your cat is a secret writing cat...
ReplyDeleteLove the kitty! One of mine will sleep on it, the other under it. Unless we're in it, then it's a fight as to who gets to curl up with whom!
ReplyDeleteCan't write without good sleep. I love that your cat's name is Walgreens.
ReplyDeleteAdorable cat and well ... you never know with cats. They are sneaky! ;)I too will have to post something up tonight when I get home and I will stop back to check out yours!
ReplyDeleteWell the cat may do little writing herself, but it is well-known that most writers need their cats... And yours is more considerate than ours. Ours refuses to make the bed.
ReplyDeleteI've long suspected my cat surfs the Internet when I'm asleep...
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your writing space!
And you chose the name Walgreens because...
ReplyDelete@Summer - I suspect she's the type to think about writing and never actually pull the trigger.
ReplyDelete@TWC - Our cat show a strong preference to curl up with my wife if we're both in bed. If I go to take a nap or something, though, Walgreens will run in from another room and lay down beside me.
@Lydia - Sleep: the necessary medicine of which I all too often deprive myself.
@Mara - Yes, if there is one thing that all the cats I've had over the years have had in common, it's been sneakiness.
@Hart - My wife trained the cat well. I still can't make the bed as well as Walgreens can.
@Nicole - Cats are responsible for 63% of all spam.
@Deb - A-ha! Good question. :) We decided that we would name the kitten for the first thing she did when we brought her home to our apartment. As soon as we put her down, she ran and hid in the box for a humidifier we'd purchased at Walgreens.
With a cat you never know!
ReplyDeleteI really like the crashing wave on your wall. And, I dno, I do most of my writing in bed so your bed looks like an ideal writing space. Your cat is cute and I'm a little envious of it's name!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Very nice. Your room is quite clean!
ReplyDelete@Dorte - It's true. Cats are keeping some big secret, for sure.
ReplyDelete@Melissa - I used to do a lot of writing in bed, and I still whip out the notepad and scratch things off sometimes, but I find that if I write at bedtime, it keeps me awake. Strangely, if I write in bed before bedtime, it puts me to sleep.
@JA Sarah - haha Ideally, yes. As with anyone, the chaos of life sometimes makes it hard to keep up, but psychologically clutter in a room is like barnacles on my soul.
Your room is oddly pink...
ReplyDeleteHuh. That's weird. hahahaha
ReplyDeleteActually, the only things in there that are pink are the chair and the stuffed elephant next to the cat. But the red in the quilt is sufficiently washed out at this point that with all that blue, I suppose it does look pinkish.
That's funny, though, because in person the effect of the room is very much blue with tan and red. lol
I just see pink. What does that say about me? Yikes.
ReplyDeletehaha Well, now that you mention it, there is a definite pink impression to the picture. That kinda cracks me up.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, just in coverage space, there's more blue.
So. Hmm.
lol Of course, I'm not sure I see colors the way I should sometimes, so maybe it's all pink and Rose has just been pulling one over on me. hahaha
