The latest is that I'm doing one more round of revisions prior to proofing for queries. The overall feedback I've gotten from my readers has been very positive, and I'm very encouraged about the book. That said, there were a few minor tweaks suggested that I think will improve the quality of the book, and so I want to take care of those.
There were also two slightly more fundamental points that one reader struck on that resonated with two of my own concerns, and I'm addressing them, as well. I think the book will be a little more sound for one, and the characters a lot richer for the other. Neither fix should take a tremendous amount of time, but do require some careful consideration.
Here's hoping for quick, but quality fixing!
